AIOU Announces To Conduct Online Exams For Overseas Students

The Allama Iqbal Open University has announced that it will offer online examinations to international students. The schedule has been released for candidates from various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Bahrain, who are enrolled in degree programmes offered in the autumn semester of 2020. The university has advised students to study for the examinations in accordance with the instructions given by the relevant authorities. Exams for the matric and intermediate levels will also begin.

Issuance of Roll Number Slips

The university has sent out roll number slips to all registered candidates, according to the controller of the exams’ statement. Prior to the distribution of roll number slips, AIOU provided the students with a date sheet so that they could plan their examinations accordingly. The university, as one of the largest educational institutions in the country, offers a diverse range of degree programs to which thousands of students apply each year. The university not only assists students on a national level but also educates students from other countries. The main goal is to provide students with a high-quality education that will enable them to excel in their chosen fields.

Commencement of Online Exams

AIOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Zia Ul Qayyum had previously stated that the admissions and administrative procedures would be digitalized. By holding online examinations in other countries, the AIOU will reach a significant milestone and set a precedent for other universities. Furthermore, candidates are informed that admissions for overseas Pakistanis are currently underway, and they can enroll in a variety of programs including mass communication, commerce, and library science. Aside from that, the university has also announced admissions for the second phase of the spring semester 2021, with the application deadline set for March 25, 2021.
