BISE Aga Khan is the examination authority for the Aga Khan region, which includes neighbouring cities. Every year, the Aga Khan board examines tens of thousands of pupils. The Aga Khan University Examination Board is a Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education that was established by Aga Khan University in response to increased demand from schools for more thorough school examinations. AKU-EB was created in August 2003 by Government of Pakistan Ordinance CXIV to administer examinations for both the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) throughout Pakistan and overseas. Its skills are available in both Urdu and English.

AKU-main EB’s goal is to increase the quality of education by making valid examinations more accessible to Pakistani students and increasing their value by promoting advanced education foundations both inside and outside the country. In order to achieve its educational objectives, AKU-EB will:

  • For both English and Urdu-medium schools, conduct smooth 5th, 8th, SSC, and HSSC examinations.
