Education Minister Murad Raas-the Punjab said that without a review there would be no promotion this year to the next grade.
The minister said this during his address at a press conference in Lahore, according to the shared information, the examinations were carried out in May of this year. He added that the pandemic COVID-19 influenced the students’ studies.
He demanded that students pay their fees and said that many students left school after the pandemic grew.

The minister said the schools were permitted to operate only at a capacity of 50 percent and strict compliance with COVID-19 SOPs.
The schools were shut down during the first wave of the virus for six months and during the second wave for about two months. The government began online lessons to minimize student losses, he said.

Murad Raas also suggested that a federal campaign has been launched to discover the exact number of students who fled the epidemic.
