This project, led by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood, is in keeping with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s goal of a digital Pakistan. The ministry hopes to use it to provide impoverished children and schools with high-quality, uniform digital education.

Taleemabad is the first award-winning EdTech platform in the country, offering digital education based on the Single National Curriculum ( SNC).

Telenor Pakistan will provide six Model Virtual Schools in the pilot stage with basic IT gear and a digital management learning system for teachers, students, and administration, as well as the tools and skills needed to cope with the new normal.

“With over 23 million out-of-school children across the country, we feel it is our obligation to innovate and create sustainable solutions that enable masses through digitization and can withstand the test of time,” Kamal Ahmed said of the initiative.
