FDE to Announce Ramadan Timings for Schools and Colleges Tomorrow

ramz For the month of Ramadan, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is expected to announce reduced schedules for schools and institutions in the Islamabad Capital Territory tomorrow.

In an exclusive interview with ProPakistani, a top FDE official who did not want to be identified stated that the FDE has recently confirmed the times of educational establishments in Islamabad during Ramadan.

According to the source, an official notification will be published in this regard tomorrow, and copies will be distributed to students at all FDE-affiliated educational institutions.

Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) and Higher Education Department (HED) met earlier this month and discussed shortening educational institutes’ hours by two hours during Ramadan.

In Punjab, boys’ schools and colleges are open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while girls’ schools and colleges are open from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

While an official announcement on Ramadan timings is still pending, boys’ schools and colleges are scheduled to be open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while girls’ schools and colleges will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
