
In the budget for FY2022-23, the Finance Division approved providing Rs. 6 billion to 27 Public Sector Development Projects (PSDP) within the Federal Education and Professional Training (FEPT) Division.
Twenty-five of these projects are currently in progress, and two new projects have been accepted for funding. 25 continuing projects would receive Rs. 5.85 billion, while new initiatives will receive Rs. 149.33 million.

According to the Budget FY2022-23 document, Rs. 150.74 million has been earmarked for providing scholarships to 1,600 talented students from Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). On May 6, 2019, this project was approved for a total cost of Rs. 2.05 billion.
The project has so far received Rs. 888.21 million in funding. The project requires Rs. 1.16 billion of the total allowed cost to be finished. The Finance Division, on the other hand, has only allocated Rs. 150.74 million to the project for FY2022-23.
In addition, Rs. 106.31 million has been authorized for the National Curriculum Council’s formation (NCC). On June 2, 2021, this project was approved for a total cost of Rs. 720.82 million. The project has so far received Rs. 234.74 million in funding. The project still needs Rs. 486.07 million to be finished out of the entire allowed cost. The Finance Division, on the other hand, has only allocated Rs. 106.31 million to the project for FY 2022-23.
