Prime Minister Imran Khan has opened an online site for students across the country to register grievances about educational subsidies directly with the Prime Minister’s Office.
The newly created portal is linked to the Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP), which was launched in 2018 with the goal of connecting citizens with all government offices directly.
PM Imran Khan remarked at the opening that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program offer several types of scholarships at the federal and provincial levels.

The current federal government is working to bring these scholarships together on a single platform to make it easier for students and to ensure that they are used effectively for the country’s development.
He went on to say that the Ehsaas Program is Pakistan’s greatest need-based scholarship scheme. 50,000 meritorious students will receive scholarships as part of the plan, which will run through 2023.
The Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program received Rs. 24 billion from the federal government in 2019 for the following four years. 50% of the total scholarships were set aside for female students, with the remaining 2% going to students with special needs.
