
In different districts, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa has closed educational institutes. The decision was made by the government of KP in response to a rise in the number of coronavirus cases. Schools, colleges, and universities in the districts of Abbottabad, Khyber, Shangla, Dir Upper, Haripur, and Bajaur will remain closed until April 11th, 2021, according to KP education minister Shahram Tarakai. The decision affects both public and private educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa’s listed areas.

Closure Of Educational Institutes
Mostly during closure time, the education minister clarified that students would not be called to school for any reason. Teachers, on the other hand, may be summoned to address academic matters in order for students to complete their course work. Apart from that, management staff can attend the respective institutions according to the institute’s requirements. Teachers and staff members, on the other hand, must stick to SOPs when at school in order to schedule students’ assignments.

Decision of NCOC
Following a meeting of the national command and operations center on March 24, 2021, federal education minister Shafqat Mahmood declared that educational institutes in coronavirus hotspot areas will remain closed until April 11, 2021. On April 7, 2021, a consultation session will be held to assess the situation with the coronavirus and make a statement on the reopening of educational institutes. It was previously announced that schools, colleges, and universities in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain open because the coronavirus situation in these two provinces is better than in Punjab. Furthermore, it has been reported that the annual matric and intermediate exams will be conducted in accordance with the board’s published schedule.
