
In the midst of increasing coronavirals, the Federal Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr Mahmood, has summoned a further Special Meeting of the IPEMC.
In a planned meeting for Monday 16 November, at 11:00am at the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the pandemic situation in the educational sector and the prospect of an early and prolonged winter break would be addressed carefully.
All provincial education ministries have received correspondence throughout this connection.

Asad Umar, the head of the government’s COVID policy, proposed earlier today that early and longer winter holidays take place this year as a result of the Federal Minister of Scheduling. Mostly during NCOC meeting, the recommendation was made.
The forum has proposed early and winter holidays to guarantee the protection and health of students, taking account of an increasing positive ratio.

The forum was told about the growing positive thinking ratio in schools. On Monday, the NCOC agreed to convene an IPEMC meeting and discuss these issues.
Noticeably, last week’s meeting of the provincial ministers of education decided against early winter holidays. The ministers of Punjab and Sindh officially have not declared any break in winter.
