Punjab Announces a Change in Summer Vacation Schedule for 2022

According to reports, the Punjab government has extended summer holidays by one month for all public and private schools in the province.

According to claims in the media, the current academic year will expire on May 31 rather than March 31. The next academic year will begin on August 1, 2022, and end on March 31, 2023. From June 1 through July 31, 2022, students will have a two-month summer holiday instead of one.

In addition, due to the increasing daytime during the summers, the provincial government has decided to change the timings of schools and institutions in the province beginning in March.
