SED Punjab had decided earlier this year in January to hold tests for grades 1 to 8 in all schools across the province starting on March 5.

However, due to the closure of schools in many cities across the province due to the outbreak of the Omicron version of the Coronavirus, it was obliged to reconsider its decision.
