Furthermore, starting on October 15th, the winter hours will be in effect.
The Punjabi government declared summer vacations from 1 June to 31 July 2022 in May.
As instructors had not yet received their pay, the provincial education department had previously issued a warning that the afternoon schools would be closed if funding was not given within a month.
The province’s 7,000 Insaf Afternoon Schools were about to close in May owing to a lack of funding, and it was discovered that thousands of teachers hadn’t received their pay in roughly four months.
The department’s representative stated that as soon as the funds were received, the teachers’ dues would be paid.
Even though the provincial administration said it lacked the resources to support the Insaf Afternoon Schools, it had already released Rs. 3.5 billion to manage the operations of Punjab’s public schools. According to a statement issued by the Finance Department, the government schools received more than Rs. 140 million of the total sum released.
