
Sardar Usman Bsuzdar, Punjab’s Chief Minister, has sanctioned the establishment of 12 new institutions in the province’s various districts.
The approval came during his meeting with Raja Yasir Humayun, the provincial Minister of Higher Education, at the CM House today. The Secretary of Higher Education and other important officials were also present.
The government, according to CM Buzdar, would take all necessary steps to promote higher education in Punjab. He stated that the university charter should be completed shortly, adding that the new universities will assist both male and female students from rural areas.

“We’re attempting to provide higher education chances to the youth right at their doorstep,” the CM explained.
He praised Punjab’s universities for improving their global rankings and pledged to make the province a centre of higher learning.
Minister Humayun further informed the Chief Minister that 197 development higher education projects worth Rs. 15 billion are currently being implemented in Punjab.
