The Registrar of Punjab University Lahore issued an important declaration earlier today regarding University Timings for the Holy Month of Ramadan, which will begin in the next two or three days. In order to make employees’ and students’ lives easier during Ramadan, all educational and other institutions are adjusting their hours. According to the latest information, all departments and institutes of the Punjab University will observe Ramadan timings from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the month of Ramadan. This schedule will be followed by both teaching and non-teaching departments. However, there are certain adjustments to the shift of important workers, such as medical center staff, gardeners, sanitary workers, security guards, and resident officers, who will work from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday. They will all start working at 8 a.m. on Friday and finish at 12 p.m.

Peshwar University also announced the revised timings in the month of Ramadan. The Peshawar University will start its working hour at 8 AM and end at 1 PM from Monday to Friday. The purpose of revising the timings in the Holy month of Ramadan is to give enough time to students as well as employees for the preparation of the weekly congregational prayers.
