Complete Detail of Scholarship Program for 2022-23
China and Pakistan are strengthening educational collaboration, according to the Higher Education Commission. Scholarships are being offered by the Chinese government to Pakistani students. The Chinese Government Scholarship Program 2022-23 has been announced by HEC. Pakistani students can apply for admission to Chinese universities through the China Scholarship Council (CSC). China’s government is granting Pakistani intellectuals the opportunity to study in Chinese universities. The administration and enrolment of this massive Chinese Government Scholarship Program will be handled by China. Pakistani students can apply for scholarships in a variety of subjects for bachelor’, Masters’, and Ph.D. degrees.

Programs Offered
Scholarship recipients can choose from a wide range of degrees in Engineering, Science, Economics, Management, History, Medicine, Agriculture, Legal Studies, Education, Literature, History, Fine Arts, and Philosophy at Chinese universities.
The Chinese Government Scholarship Program offers international students undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees, as well as Chinese language courses, which are required for one year in several degree programs.

Financial Details
- The university will use the tuition funds. The tuition revenues cover the costs of administration, instruction, outlays, and health insurance for students to participate in their activities.
- Each awardee student is provided with free university housing.
- The stipend is determined by the government of China’s scholarship program. CNY 2,500/month for undergraduate students, CNY 3,000/month for master’s students, and CNY 3,500/month for Ph.D. students.
- Scholarship recipients would cover the cost of travel. Financial aid will not be provided by HEC.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pakistani nationals are required to apply. Applicants with dual nationality are not eligible for this programme.
- Applicants must be free of any physical ailments.
- Applicants for the bachelor’s degree must have completed FSC/intermediate/FA/A-level schooling (12 years). Applicants should be under the age of 25.
- Applicants for a Master’s degree must have completed at least 16 years of school or an undergraduate degree. Applicants should be under the age of 35.
- Applicants pursuing a Ph.D. should hold a Master’s degree (MPhil or MS) and have completed 17 or 18 years of education. Applicants should be under the age of 40.
- Applicants must meet the application requirements outlined on the CSC portal and website.
- Applicants must meet the language competence, academic ability, and other eligibility standards for admission to applied universities.
- Applicants must not be currently receiving any other scholarship.
