Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) has threatened to take departmental action against teachers who refuse to register for Single National Curriculum training (SNC).
After the Federal Government established the country’s standard curriculum, Punjab’s Education Ministry mandated SNC training mandatory for all instructors in the province.
According to information, the SED Punjab has set the deadline for registering for SNC training at 1 August. Teachers who complete SNC training will be able to download their certificates from the School Information System’s website (SIS).

Teachers who do not register by the deadline will face disciplinary action from their department. They would also be required to attend SNC training in person at the SED Punjab headquarters in Lahore.
The SNC was developed and implemented by the PTI-led Federal Government for schools, universities, and seminaries. Except for Sindh, which openly rejects the SNC, all provinces have adopted the SNC.
All schools, colleges, and seminaries are mandated by the SNC to use textbooks developed by the provincial textbook boards.
