Thousands Turn Up for Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence & Computing Test

President Alvi advises students to concentrate on IT as the PIAIC Entrance Exam attracts over 25,000 students.

Under the Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing, around 25,000 students from throughout Sindh took the entrance exam 2022 for online courses in the developing disciplines of software, artificial intelligence, blockchain, internet of things, networking, and cloud computing (PIAIC).

Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, paid a visit to the test centre at the National Stadium in Karachi (NSK).

The President’s programme, which was established in partnership with the Sailani International Welfare Trust (SWIT), aims to empower adolescents by providing advanced online training.

Dr. Arif Alvi addressed the students ahead to the test and recommended them to work hard and concentrate on Information Technology. He said that students who finished these courses would have a plethora of income prospects.

“Once you finish your education and training, you will have access to hundreds of chances in this area all over the world,” he added, adding that “the government is providing all kinds of support to the IT sector, and regulations have been enacted to help this sector expand.”

He added that the government had put in place initiatives such as the Digital Skill Program. He insisted that the Digital Skills Program was free and claimed it provided IT training through online classes. Thousands of kids benefited from the initiative, he continued, and were earning money.

“After the training, you can establish your own business because the government has launched the Kamyab Jawan Program, which provides youth with interest-free financial assistance of up to Rs. 1,000,000,” stated the President.

Chairman SWIT, Maulana Bashir Ahmed Farooqui, spoke at the event and stated that SWIT aspired to serve the people and was doing its best.

“We’re aiming to train the youth in the IT sector because it can help the country thrive by encouraging entrepreneurship,” he continued.
